Primm Valley Lakes Golf Course

Primm Valley Lakes Golf Course

The Lakes Golf Course at Primm Valley Golf Club opened in February of 1997, and was quickly given the ranking as one of the top ten best golf courses in 97' by Golf Digest Magazine. The Lakes Course will take you to another world. Complete with dense groves of tall pine trees, an extensive lakes and river system (in-play on 11 holes) and acre upon acre of beautifully manicured green rye grass that is interrupted by numerous bunkers of all shapes and sizes.

This 6,945 yard par 71 course is a challenge that puts even the best golfer to the test. Generous fairways that slope towards the middle make the course very player friendly. But don't be fooled! The undulating, well-bunkered greens and plenty of water hazards will make it difficult to tame this beautiful beast. Waterfalls, trees and lush landscaping add to the beauty of this Las Vegas golf course. Take advantage of the nearly year-round blue skies and book this course today for your group or just yourself. You will not be disappointed with the Lakes Course at Primm Valley Golf Club!

Top Finishing Holes in Las Vegas

One of the most memorable holes on any golf course is the finishing hole. This is the last hole of the day and most likely the one golfers will remember most vividly. Some of the best finishing holes include water, sand and are quite long. Top names in the industry try to make a statement with their finishing holes. A phenomenal collection of dramatic and demanding finishing holes designed by architects like Jack Nicklaus, Tom Weiskopf and Tom Fazio can be found in fabulous Las Vegas. [ read more ]

Rio Secco and Cascata were both great, though the group agrees that each course might have been marginally more lush last year. Still, both in great shape and a treat to play either. Primm Lakes, in the four holes we got to play, was not in good shape. The greens were ok but the fairways were hardpan in many spots. Real disappointing for me as I love that course but you were right. Rhodes Ranch received very favorable reviews from everyone - amazingly enough the group felt that it was the best-conditioned course of the four we played. Certainly not a Rio or Cascata in layout or difficulty, but we appreciated a less-severe test on our last day and the course was in great shape. Greens not as fast as the other courses but perfect condition and rolled true - love to play there again. They even gave each of us a free lunch ticket and two beverage tickets for after the round - nice touch.
