Paiute Golf Resort - The Wolf

Paiute Golf Resort - The Wolf

The Wolf Course at the Paiute Golf Resort is definitely "Golf to Dye For", the Wolf is a definite must-add to your Las Vegas golf itinerary. From the back tees the Wolf can stretch to over 7,600 yards, making it the longest golf course currently in the state of Nevada.

Paiute Golf Resort's Wolf Course has more undulations in the fairways than you would typically find on a desert golf course. The land that surrounds the Wolf Course is flat with a lot of rocks. It will take a couple of trips around this track to determine the best place to hit the ball off the tees. The Wolf Course features numerous doglegs and several forced carries over desert waste areas. The fairways are wide but the greens have numerous false fronts and backs that lead the ball away from the hole if you hit an errant shot.

Top Par 3 Holes in Las Vegas Golf

Par-3 holes are some of the most dramatic holes in championship golf. Although these holes are usually the shortest on the golf course, they can play the hardest of any hole. Take, for example, the 12th hole at Augusta National. Each year at the Masters tournament, this hole has sent many a player's score to a watery grave.

In Las Vegas we have some equally dramatic par-3s that can either make or break a round of golf. [ read more ]

We loved playing at Boulder Creek as the course was in great shape and the area was beautiful. We also loved Paiute again, having played there about 8-9 years ago. Revere was nice also but the rough was very high since they overseeded and did not cut it down (gave me fits hitting out of it). The last day at Siena was also very nice. Harrah's as a hotel was not that great but we knew we could save some money and used that savings to see LA REVE at the Wynn. Thanks again for your help as it was a wonderful trip. We both ranked the courses with Boulder Creek and Paiute as our favorites and the other 2 were very nice as well.

Thank you for looking after my group last week. They all had a great time and Paiute Wolf was in great shape we all loved it. Looking forward to November golf trip with bigger group.

Our trip went really well, with all points running smoothly (The bus pick up at the airport off to Cascata went well and we really loved that experience - the course was great and i actually managed to play well, which was a bonus. The pick up at the club to take us back to Bellagio also went smoothly, as did the hotel reservation and the two games at Paiute).
We also got lucky and managed to square away a game at Shadow Creek on the Saturday, via our contact at Southern Highlands.
A few of the boys also won big on the tables, so all in all, the trip was brilliant.
Thanks for your assistance in setting things up and if you are ever thinking of coming down to Australia, keep this email address handy and give me a shout, as we can treat you to some pretty good golf down there.

Alex,
I just wanted to thank you for setting up my golf and hotel in Las Vegas. The Mirage was fantastic! We visited a number of the other Hotels and feel that the Mirage is the best. Very friendly staff; great facility; wonderful dining....

The golf was great. TPC Las Vegas was my least favorite -- a bit boring and bumpy greens (shot 87 - couln't make a putt)...Rio Secco was FANTASTIC! Cool canyon shots, great greens, crazy nice houses (shot an 84); Paiute Wolf was a beautiful setting -- perfectly manicured course and excellent greens (shot 84). Please let me know of any future Las Vegas golf deals you might have. Thanks!
