Las Vegas Golf in July

Coming to Las Vegas soon?
Here's the scoop on some of what's going on in July at some of the golf courses here in Las Vegas. Las Vegas National Golf Club is going to be punching their greens starting on Monday, July 9th. I recommend that you stay away from there for at least three weeks so the greens can recover. The Arroyo Course at Red Rock Country Club will be aerating their greens on June 25th. They are also doing some renovation on the driving range at Red Rock, so it will be closed from July 22 until mid-September.
There are a few golf courses here in Las Vegas with some great rates if you’re looking for some good deals. The Rio Secco has dropped their rates for this summer, so book a tee time and go play one of the best golf courses here in Las Vegas. I just went out and played TPC Canyons on Monday and it is in great shape for the summer. I would definitely suggest booking a tee-time there, and then you can see what the PGA Professionals will be playing in October.
A few people in the office took the opportunity to check out Rhodes Ranch Golf Club last week. This golf course had resurfaced their greens last summer and the greens really never came back during the prime season. Rhodes Ranch closed their doors for a couple of months, but now the greens are back! I was told by my co-workers that the greens are a bit slow and hard, but they said that they would not hesitate sending their friends out there to play.
