Routine Maintenance Set for Las Vegas Golf Courses

Wow!!! The weather here in Las Vegas is awesome. Temperatures are in the mid-70's and there's not a breath of wind on most days. With all of this warm weather the grass is starting to grow like it's on steroids. Typically in late March and early April many of the golf courses in Las Vegas will be doing routine maintenance work on the golf courses. This includes Aeration, which is the process of punching holes in the turf to release compaction and help water and nutrients reach the roots of the grass.

Usually this process is done over the course of 2-3 days but the effects will last for about a week or so. The length of time will greatly depend on the type of equipment used and strength of the grass to recover.

Our staff at Las Vegas Golf Adventures is always on the ball and can help you select the golf courses that will be in the best condition during this time of year. Or you can visit our Aeration and Overseeding Schedule online.
