Once again the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino will play host to the 10th annual Tiger Jam. Tiger Jam has quickly become the highlight of the concert year in Las Vegas. The star power of Tiger Woods has managed to attract a stellar line-up for the concert. Bon Jovi will be headlining the event with special guest performance by former American Idol Contestant, Daughtry. Over the past decade, Tiger Jam has grown into one of the worlds leading Charitable Events to date.

Las Vegas, NV is one of the fastest growing cities in the country. With all of this growth it is no wonder that golf is growing at the same pace. Year after year the quantity and quality of the golf courses in Las Vegas is reaching new heights. Housing has become the focal point of this explosive growth. All over the valley you find housing communities that have golf courses attached to them. Silverstone Golf Club is one of the finest golf facilities Southern Nevada has to offer.

What is Really Important Every year club manufacturers are coming out with bigger and better golf clubs to help make the game of golf more enjoyable for the average golfer. Most players will never reach the status of "PGA Tour Professional" but that doesn't mean they can't enjoy their round of golf. Golf Club manufacturers are doing their part in making the game accessible to more players.

One of my favorite golf courses in the entire Las Vegas area is Boulder Creek Golf Club out in Boulder City, Nevada. It's about a 25-30 minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip and is out in the middle of the dry lake beds. While some might think the distance from the strip is a negative, I view it as a positive. And after you have been to this great layout, I'm sure you will agree.

Tuscany Golf Club is what I would call a masterpiece in the making. One of the newest golf courses in the city is showing potential to be one of the best. Tuscany has only been around for a handful of years but it is rounding into form and eventually will be a must-play when you come to Las Vegas. Tuscany - The Community Tuscany is a master planned community about 25 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.

Jack Nicklaus has been designing golf courses for more than 30 years. During that time he has created some of the most memorable holes in golf. As a tribute to his great designs, two golf courses have opened that feature 18 holes copied from the more than 200 golf courses Nicklaus has designed. Located in Atlanta and Las Vegas, the golf courses are named Bear's Best. I recently had the opportunity to revisit the Bear's Best in Las Vegas. Nevada.

Week in and week out the players on the PGA Tour play on the most well-manicured golf courses in the country. The fairways look as if they have been freshly rolled out, each of the bunkers are raked each morning and the greens are smooth and fast. It is a real treat when the average golfer has a chance to play under these stunning conditions. TPC Canyons, located in Las Vegas, NV, is such a place. This golf course plays host each year to the Frys.com Open - usually played in October.

You will be mesmerized by the elevation changes, the perfect course conditions and the views of the Las Vegas Valley while playing this golf course. The Falls Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas is located about 30 minutes from The Las Vegas Strip. This is a drive you'll be happy to make once you set eyes on the lush greens and fairways when pulling into to gate.

Maintaining a golf course in Las Vegas is more difficult than most people realize. Before I even stepped foot on Reflection Bay Golf Course, I was expecting it to be one of the best golfing experiences I have ever had. I had heard so much about the golf course and the Lake Las Vegas area in general that I was extremely excited to get out and play there. As soon as you step on the first tee, you know you are in for a challenge. With out-of-bounds on both sides as well as fairway and greenside bunkers and a lake bordering the green, this long dogleg right opening Par 5 will intimidate even single digit handicaps. Once you get past the first hole it doesn't get too much easier.
