Business Hours: Casinos and most bars are open 24 hours in Vegas. Nightclubs usually close around 2am on weekdays and 4am on weekends. Attractions and restaurants vary. You can find many 24-hour grocery stores, or a local 24-hour convenience stores around town.

Drinking Laws: The legal age to purchase or consume alcohol in Las Vegas is 21. Proper identification such as a State Issued ID, Drivers License or Passport must be submited upon request. Opened containers such as beer bottles, wine or any form of whisky must not be found in your vehicle.

Emergencies: Dial 911 to contact the police or fire department or to call an ambulance.

Lost & Found: If you have lost your wallet or purse, please contact the hotel security through the front desk or concierge desk. Many Hotels and Casinos in Las Vegas offer a Lost and Found service which is normally found at Security. Please contact your Credit Card companies and Banks to let them know you have lost your personal belongings.
Most banks in Las Vegas have an in-store outlet at many local grocery stores - they are usually open until 7pm. If you have lost your belongings during the weekend after the banks are closed, please let your Hotel Front Desk assist you with Western Union services or to direct you to the nearest facility.

Smoking: Smoking is not-allowed in any establishment where food is served. There are some restaurants that have provisioned for this by securing the area where food is being prepared from the main dining areas but they are a rare find. Smoking is allowed inside the Casinos except where designated. Many Hotels and Casinos offer smoking rooms, but if you are not in one of these designated rooms - the service charge for smoking is approximately $300.

TIpping: Tipping is a very important part of the Las Vegas workers' income. Any worker who is providing a service hopes to gain a monetary tip, but you are not held to it by any means. Tipping ranges anywhere from $1-$2 for bellhops, casino cocktail waitresses and valet attendants. If you wish to gain an advantage as in - a better parking arrangement, larger tips are often appreciated and retain that upper advantage. It's custumary to tip 15%-20% for restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

If you have received bad service, you should not feel obligated to tip.
